Third and last day of VMworld was much calmer than the first two days. There were definitely much less sessions Today simply because most of people were leaving Barcelona in the evening. I was lucky to travel back home next day so I wasn’t in a rush.

Second day of VMworld 2014 was even more intense than first one. After Veeam Party finished somewhere about1:30 AM I was quite tired and I had to skip first session. I don’t regret it because it was really good and I will watch first session online.

This Year thanks to the company I work for I was able to attend VMworld 2014 in Barcelona. I arrived to Barcelona Yesterday with my colleague and I was welcomed by gorgeous weather (+25 Celsius) and really nice hotel Hotel Expo Barcelona.

In Today’s post, I would like to show you how to configure Microsoft Clustering across Virtual Machines with shared disk - so-called Cluster in a Box(CiB). Typical use case for Microsoft Cluster / Failover Cluster is to have cluster nodes with shared storage. Typical use case for Cluster in a Box is when you have to provide availability on Operating System level for application/service and you can’t use Raw Device Mapping in your environment.
