Due to the fact that my work is now customer oriented I have possibilities to see more environments and learn new things. Quite recently I was working with customer and we wanted to see DCUI - Direct Console User Interface.

Prerequisites

Fortunately for us we don’t have to do much. We just need to enable two services on ESXi - DCUI and SSH. Click on Host and Clusters, than select your ESXi host. Select Manage tab and click on Settings and Security Profile.
